When Carole & I first began working with Serious Fitness’ online personal training program our biggest concern was if our form would be correct since we would not be working with Judd in-person, and if we would have the motivation to follow the weekly workout routine without having a committed slot each time with a personal trainer. However, during our first week we quickly realized that this would not be an issue!
The video and written descriptions in the Serious Fitness smartphone app make it very clear what to do and how to do things correctly. Our regular check-in meetings take it to the next level because Judd and his team are always there for us and our open discussions about modifications to various exercises make things very personal and accommodate us in every way. The regular changes to our program motivates us by keeping things fresh and constantly evolving so the motivation is not an issue at all. Our biggest goals when we joined were increased strength, balance, mobility & flexibility. Our strength has probably increased the most and we feel like we are more toned and fit. Hiking, biking, skiing all seem a lot easier due to our fitness. It's hard to put it into words but just looking in the mirror is a bit easier on the eyes. Mobility, balance and flexibility are a bit harder to quantify but those have increased noticeably. The Serious Fitness team’s commitment and dedication to our workouts and our lives in general is commendable and we consider ourselves fortunate to be able to know and work with them. When I was considering Judd's online personal training program I wasn't sure if I could make the commitment to myself AND to him. Judd convinced me to give it a try since his programs are tailored to compliment my fitness background and goals. I began training with Judd NeSmith 14 years ago and the results have made a consistent improvement in my physical condition, energy levels and overall health. When Michael’s gym closed, I searched for a new gym and trainer, ultimately coming across the Gunbarrel Athletic Club (GAC),where Judd trained clients.
From the beginning I have been very pleased with Judd’s knowledge, dedication, punctuality and commitment to the health, fitness and strength of his clients. I was struggling to find a personal trainer locally that was very knowledgeable in modern training techniques and able to design specific workouts to improve my functional strength, cardiovascular health and flexibility for golf. I always thought I was in good shape, as I’ve always been a skinny guy staying pretty active, just never a really strong guy. When I started training with Judd over 10 years ago, I immediately noticed a solid muscle tone and overall health improvement. I also quickly noticed significant improvements in power and endurance with my various outdoor activities. Over the years, improvements continued, along with increasing lean muscle mass.
